Awakened Voices Project

A conceptual AR App for the Awakened Voices project, a student and professor led initiative to uncover the legacy of those enslaved by the university’s namesake. This conceptual app initially revolved around the memorial and included a guided walk to landmarks relating to the history of the project and the enslaved people involved. Eventually, the concept expanded to included local businesses and communities to build a new relationship with the history of the enslaved people that lived there and the people today.
