Transmen

'Trans men' is a BFA capstone project I wrote, designed, and illustrated. This project included conceptual pitches, manuscript writing, layout design to print management. Pitching and presenting a highly personal project such as this book was difficult because I put myself in a vulnerable situation, but knowing the content could help people was well worth it.

You may find that the term transgender appears often on the news and social media. Majority of the time it has to do with bathroom rules, or banning trans athletes from playing sports. About that, they’re probably talking about trans women. There’s nothing wrong with that, but let us not forget that trans men exist and have similar, yet differing experiences. Whether you’re questioning your gender identity, or are an ally looking to understand trans men—this book is for you.
